Facilitate Active Learning by Student Response Systems
Active learning refers to instructional strategies that promote students’ active participation in knowledge construction processes. Technological innovations open up new possibilities for effective interactions. In the past few years. there was the development, promotion, and implementation of Student Response System (SRS) for the purpose of enhancing interactions and communications between teachers and students. In this workshop, Dr. Jason Chow, director of Teaching and Learning Development Office, introduced several SRS and discussed with the audience how to facilitate active learning by these new E-learning tools.
